In my youth when I had short-hair, I would get discriminated everywhere in the netherlands. Was fucking brutal. Very hard to socialize with people my age. But also teachers, etc. would distrust me.

Then I would go on a long summer holidays in poland in my youth (for 6-8 weeks), almost every year. Visiting family. And kids my age would be really kind and welcoming to me instead.
They're probably used to the low trust lawless look, and don't think too much of it anymore. It's just 'normal' in eastern europe. They dont distrust me simply because of the way I look.

I had many female friends in poland, who in hindsight, were probably somewhat in love with me. (Back then I didn't care much as a 12yo kid and just wanted to play).
In the netherlands, this never happened, despite me being the exact same guy. Never had female friends.

If I grew up in eastern-europe, I don't think I would've ever been incel. During those holiday periods, I was interacting with too many girls almost every single day.

Every summer between 8-12yo, I would spent 1-2 months in poland.
My polish relatives lived on the polish country-side. Extremely poor living circumstances. 400 euro/month type wage and everything is broken. Car is some busted 30 year old Lada being fixed by some garbage mechanic neighbor, etc.

I had SO MANY friends my age there. Especially girls. Every day was a fucking adventure.

One day we would play hide and seek until 2AM when our parents got worried about us and started looking for us. (and we would hide from them aswell making them waste hours looking for us )
Another day we asked a farmer-relative if we could ride with his truck all day. We rode around, transporting corn, talking with random people, being offered cake/drinks by nice polish grandma's, and so on. Awesome.
We would make massive bonfires in the evenings, cuz why not.
One older cousin of mine helped us build a tree-hut. We would chill in there and grab apples from the nearby apple-trees.
We would ride as a 12yo gang on bicycles most of the days. Going to the city centre, or sneaking into a local zoo.
My birthday is in the summer, so I would celebrate my birthday there, which had crazy events.

We would watch horror movies together, the ~8 of us, on a TV like this. In some random relative's back-room.
We would do karaoke shows in the evening.
We would spy on my older cousin having sex in his car at some local party.

My life in the netherlands was FUCKING GARBAGE. I was incel, I was bullied, girls hated me, and so on.
But then I had this legit MOGGER LIFE. In Poland. Girls loved me, I was part of the coolest gang of the city.
Every summer, for 1-2 months every year.
I think this insane difference in lifestyle, is part of why I have become so mentally ill in the present.

Nobody back then had cellphones even. Kids would go from door to door to ask if xx or yy is home and if they can come play outside.

Videogames/movies, etc. were a minor activity. Boring. So you would chill outside mostly, coming up with random ideas to have fun.

Adults were also way more chill. This was a village, so most people knew most people. But I could ask a random adult, if I could just join him for a day at his job. And he would be like, okay why not lol. Just don't tell your relatives/mom about all the nasty shit I am going to tell you all day.

And I would just sell shit with him at a market for a day. Or transport corn. Or walk around some national park informing tourists about local attractions.

JFL man, for them it was probably just another wage-slave day. But doing that as kid, joining some random adult in his day of work, was fucking amazing.
