Hello guys, i would like to give an underrated tip on teeth care and general oral health.
swishing with a saltwater brine (table salt and clean water) is a great way to cut down plaque from forming on your teeth and it also has a good effect on reducing the plaque previously there.
simply do it after meals or eating foods.
How this works specifically i have not researched but in general salt acts as an antibacterial which cuts down plaque-forming and other harmful pathogens, while the water helps to remove loose food debris that otherwise can be fermented and cause cavities. the water also helps to neutralize the pH in the mouth which prevents acid weakening of enamel.
That's it, hope this helps, loooove yall
