We all know a good palate is law. If you didnt know, it is.
Its not a coincidence most beautiful people have a good palate, wide and forwardly projected. How can we assure this? Just by looking at how teeth are shown in a their smile.
All of them above 6.5 PSL and smilemogging all of us to gandy
SO...Whats the ideal?
Everything 10 tooth+ is ideal. Most smilemoggers even have 12 tooth showing while smiling. Normie smile is everything from 8 teeth and below.
As seen in this image above neither of these girls have any really outstanding features, I would even say girls right coloring is better, but why is the left still better looking? WIDE PALATE, 12 tooth smile vs 6 tooth smile, BRUTAL.
If you have are normie with narrow palate and have -8 tooth showing while smiling it obviously not coincidencial. Now you might be asking yourself what can we do about this?
PALATE EXPANDER:
A palate expander is a dental device used to widen the upper jaw (palate). It’s typically used in children and teenagers whose palates haven’t fully fused yet, but it can also be used for adults in some cases. The device applies gentle pressure to the sides of the upper jaw, gradually expanding it over time.
The main purpose is to correct issues like a narrow upper jaw, which can cause crowded teeth, bite problems, or difficulty with breathing. A palate expander works by slowly separating the two halves of the palate, allowing the bones to grow wider. This process usually takes several weeks to months.
Once the palate is expanded to the desired width, the device is usually removed, and the new width of the jaw is maintained.
Here we got some before and after´s:
If you ask me the difference is incredibely brutal for a softmaxx that is for life.
COST: The cost of a palate expander varies depending on factors such as the type of expander used, the complexity of treatment, and the dental clinic's pricing. It typically ranges from $1,000 to $3,000 USD.
A lot of people could get it saving some money and if you have a narrow palate/fwhr-Narrow smile is an amazing softmaxx that actually assure results
What can you do if you dont have enough money? Nothing?
LATERAL THUMBPULLING:
Heres a video of @Clavicular talking and explaining how to do it. Is the improvement secured? No, not really but you lose nothing trying and it is a practical way to try and get a better smile.
So to finish this thread.
Are there cases when this isnt recommended?
I would say that no, if you have a narrow palate or narrow smile you are most likely to have a narros fwhr, so when wouldnt I recommend it? When you have a wide fwhr, but I just said it would be a rare case, having a narrow palate but wide face (lean), in that case the expander would make your face even wider, which it isnt really bad but idk if its worth the extra smile tooth.
SMILEPILL IS BRUTAL
THATS ALL, WATER POST I WAS JUST BORED
