My theory is that people are are passionate about looksmaxxing leans toward MTN+. The most obvious reason why is it is rare for someone to post a thread in ratings that is actually an LTN. Now we could definitely chalk this up to LTNs not having the confidence to post. Fair enough. Let's explore more.

I think people that are semi attractive are in a weird spot where their interactions with women are a mixed bag and the unconcious brain is always trying to figure out inconsistencies in all aspects of life to maximize chances of survival. That is what leads people to pinpoint their looks at some point and strive to improve them so their results with women can be more consistent.

Ugly niggas have already an understanding that they are ugly and they see it as a normal aspect of life because their results with women are consistent. I find ugly and average people to be less insecure IRL about their looks than people who are moderately attractive and beyond. Insecurity is caused by an emotional attachment to an expectation of a result that you're not getting. (Semi good looking people expect to consistently perform well with women but they don't which causes insecurities. LTNs and LTN+ already expect to not perform as well hence less insecurity)

Moderately attractive people and beyond are way more conscious about the way they look and it's not even close. I do think there are LTNs on this org but the ratio is lower. Not to mention, most men in the world fall between LTN+ and MTN. True LTNs are a minority.
