How does one talk with a female what can you even talk about?

1. I haven't talked to a female that is not related to me since 13y old and i am turning 18 in 3 months. Also when I talked to them it was not anything personal usually just school work or something. It might have hapened that I asked the cashier something or some shit like that but I haven't even had a talking stage or a girl that would say hi to me.

2. What can you even say to females and not offend them. I literally do not know what can you talk about with some random girl you don't know. Before I stoped talking to them they were saying that i am very rude to people just for saying my personal opinion. One time a girl asked me what do I think about her appearance on the school photo and I asked her if I should tell the truth, she agreed and i told her that she looks retarded and has ugly style on and that foid almost started crying and we never spoke again (I think she spreaded some rumors around school about me later but idgaf). like bitch if you asked about my honest opinion just take it.

3.Do females think it is okay to only talk to one of them or will they think it is weird how that she is the only female someone talks to.

4. I am not some subhuman retard women would ignore because of looks. i am just a mtn. And I have friends that have the same problem and yeah I hope someone can help me.

honestly ask smth like in school if you have homework and shit and if not try anything but i'd recommend almost every time a question bc it makes a person get into a conversation easily
