Talking to Stacys

When I was younger, up to the age of 12 I'd say, I had female friends. Sometimes I liked hanging out with the females more than the males. However, since the age of 13, I haven't made 1 single female friend and I haven't had 1 fun conversation with a female. Dudes in high school, not even Chads, and in college, can always be seen talking and riffing with females. I haven't been able to do that for the past 9 years. If I have to talk to a female my age, I just talk to them professionally, like they're a 40 year old professor.

However and very rarely, when the female makes more of an effort than me to keep the conversation going. I genuinely feel so good after talking. I'm not sure why, but just talking to a positive Stacey, even when I know I have no chance, makes me feel great.

For example when I was a freshman in college, I used to eavesdrops on the hottest couple at my school gym. I basically saw their relationship develop by overhearing the Chads friends egging on the Chad to ask out the Stacy. They were both seniors in college but suprisingly, the Stacey had to do a project with me in one of my classes and the Chad at the gym didn't like me at first.

Anyhow, the point of this story is that the Stacy was super nice to me and made the Chad like me. I knew I had no chance with the Stacy who was 4 years older than me but talking to her made my day sometimes because she went out of her way to be nice and keep the convo going.
I know this is a stupid thread.
