Have you guys found tanning to help with acne hyperpigmentation scars? I was thinking that having darker skin would help the scars become less visible but some people have said that it makes the scars even more prominent

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. That should reduce the contrast. Why wouldn't?

Just use makeup to conceal them. BB or CC cream, concealer, foundation etc. there are many tools to hide skin inperfections

ik bro but some people say the spots get darker easier than normal skin in the sun. don't know if it's just some stuff normal people who are afraid of the sun say

i think i read that it can make your hyperpigmentation worse (probs lies) but usually my skin looks really good in the summer because of how the contrast levels out with the tan. + sun is really good for your skin for some reason

i think it might also depend on race, latinas obviously get a lot of sun but their pigmentation is really fkn dark so im sure the sun doesnt help
