Tazarotene vs Tret ?

I heard that Tazarotene is superior to tret but it is really significant ? I started 0.05 tret 2 months ago and the purge phase is starting to stop. My skin is smoother and more even, my acne scars are less visible (i use it for this reason).

Is it worth switching to Tazarotene now ?

I'd stick to tret in your case, you only started reaping the rewards now and in theory you'll keep seeing results up to 6-9 months of consistent use.

Only switch to tazarotene as soon as you see that tret benefits start to plateau.

Also, keep in mind that as soon as you switch to tazarotene you'll have to go through the purge/peeling phase again

Yes,since its a bit stronger youll go through a smaller shorter less drastic purge but its worgh it since taz mogs
