I had to grind very hard and it took me years to build the skill set to apply and get selected for many roles. I totally get it why some people think degree is useless or there are no jobs available. The competition is very very tough but for those that can endure it the reward is there for sure. The question are you willing to put in that hard work and for many people the answer is no

I could work for his salary btw with no education just 4 working limbs. 40 hours a week. To compensate for his benefits I would just do some extra hours. And while living in a small 80k city compared to living in London. But it's just not worth the effort at the moment.
