Almost every teenager I come across has good teeth. The parents are supposed to meet the dentist when this is not the case so their kids can wear braces. It pisses me off that my parents never took me. I could have at least ended up with white and straight teeth. And girls notice it, believe it or not. Boys receive compliments on their smiles. It seems like a less important trait, but it is not.

Nigga I went to an orthodontist as a child, and they expanded my palate (absolute blessing), gave me braces with springs on the brackets to spread my teeth out or some shit, and then refused to give me normal braces to straighten my teeth. Said I had tongue thrust or something and my teeth would just revert back. Kind of retarded because tongue thrust is a habit that can be broken. I do have a brutal open/crossbite though, bad enough to qualify me for jaw surgery
