Teeth Extraction for Overbite

I believe they’re the 2 submolars at the top, I already got my wisdom teeth removed and i’m worried if it ruined my ramus so I don’t wanna make another mistake, should I do it?

never get teeth extracted unless absolutely necessary, go get braces or invisalign. also depends on the class of the malocclusion, if it's class 1 that's normal but 2/3 and that's when you need to take orthodontic procedures to fix

I have class 2, already have braces and rubber bands aren’t enough, would it be bad if I removed teeth? Why should I not extract unless absolutely necessary is there side effects? Will it make me look worse or better? tysm

extracting teeth fucks up your palate, rubberbands on braces also do but you're past that so there's really nothing to be done about that. main side effects of extracting is if they're adult teeth you won't ever get them back, palate narrows and you'll have to pour in more money for implants and other medical shit. also your jaw will not develop properly when you extract teeth. will lead to nasolabial folds, collapsing midface, thinner lips, etc.
tldr will descend you hard if you extract enough
if it's severe enough BSSO will be your best bet and maybe jerk off the surgeon to get genio too iyw

try to avoid it but if your overbite is fucking your profile up and dentist says no to surgery either try to find another dentist that's more lenient or bite the bullet, and when u had your wisdom teeth removed as long as u stay mewing the forces balance and ur face won’t recess. but if u get braces or invisalign to close the gaps that ur missing teeth created, then that’s when you’ll start to see a recession, mostly applies before 18 when your face is still susceptible to changes especially in the jaws. However it's still possible to grow your face despite these setbacks.

fuck bro i’m 17 and got my braces in right after the extraction, im not gonna extract them anymore, they kept telling me it’ll fix my overbite and kept reassuring me it’ll improve my profile but ig not, here’s a photo of my side profile lmk if it’s worth the extraction thanks again.

btw you made me go back to old photos and yeah idk I think the wisdom teeth removal fucked the appearance of my ramus, or my bulk i’ve kinda been a gymcel recently atleast I hit 250lb on bench

honestly you still look pretty good even after extractions, a genio personally i don't think its necessary because chin projection seems fixable with BSSO to fix overbite. it will probably fix all issues you have with your lower third except ramus.
for your ramus it seems good in the second pic but first one seems kinda short, extractions probably did fuck your ramus however it wasn't too bad. the more glaring issue would be your eye area, infras seem kind of recessed and you have a good deal of uee

you could try getting filler, implants have a bit of risk but are usually more permanent + won't shift
but if you don't want to hardmaxx that much then go live your life and gymmax
