1. Diet.
In the image below, you can see 4 Eskimos, that have a diet consisting of :
Raw fish, seal oil, caribou meat, whale blubber, organ meats (like liver and kidney),
dried fish, fermented marine foods, and bone marrow.
In the study, this diet is called "Primitive".
In the image below, you can see 4 eskimos that have a diet consisting of :
White bread, refined flour, sugar, jam, canned meats, canned fruits, vegetable oils,
candy, and sweetened beverages. Little to no organ
meats or raw animal products.
In this study, this diet is called "Modern".
Conclusion : We can clearly see that the primitive alaskans have no misalignment,
cavities, crooked teeth, or anything. In contrary, the "modernized alaskans"
have multiple problems, all listed in the images.
This indicates that diet can strongly impact your teeth alignment, health, and
overall look.
Study done by doctor Weston A Price.
2. Thumb Sucking.
Not much to say, it can just push your teeth forward.
3. Mouth Breathing.
Recessed jaw and narrow palate, leading to more angled and crowded teeth.
4. Overbite, underbite, etc.
Not much to be said, seems logical.
5. There are other causes. Do your own research if I
did not list your case.

1. Teeth appear yellow primarily due to enamel thinning, which exposes the
naturally darker dentin underneath.
A quick image of the dentin :
This can help you visualize how your teeth can be perceived as yellow, with the
thinning of the enamel.
2. Yellowing of the teeth can also be caused by the deposit of pigments
on the surface of your enamel, mostly through food and drinks.
Here is a list of foods that can lead to a deposit of pigments that
make your teeth appear yellow :
Coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco.
3. Medication (tetracycline, etc.)
(When taken during the period of tooth development)
Its an antibiotic that binds to calcium ions, making it appear yellow, grey or
even brown throughout its oxydation.
4. There are also other cases like Fluorisis that
I will not list here, because you can find
your answer easily online.

1. Crooked teeth can be corrected with orthodontic braces or Invisalign, but severe cases may require
surgically assisted orthodontics (e.g., corticotomy-assisted alignment).
Before/After Orthodontic braces.
2. Misaligned jaws due to skeletal issues are treated with orthognathic
surgery, which repositions the maxilla and/or mandible.
3d representation of orthognathic surgery, before and after.
3. Underbite or overbite are typically fixed with Le Fort I maxillary advancement,
BSSO (Bilateral Sagittal Split Osteotomy) mandibular setback, or both.
Overbite caused by a recessed maxilla. Fixed with LeFort 1.

Thin enamel :
Use nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste to remineralize and strengthen the
enamel, making the teeth appear whiter over time by reducing translucency.
Or Get porcelain veneers placed to cover translucent enamel and create a permanently white look.
Genetic yellow teeth :
Apply professional in-office bleaching with high-concentration hydrogen peroxide to
lighten the internal shade of the dentin.
Genetic yellow teeth: Undergo enamel microabrasion combined with veneers
or crowns for permanent shade correction if bleaching fails.
Medication-induced staining ( ex : tetracycline) :
Mask the discoloration with porcelain veneers or composite bonding,
as whitening has limited effect on intrinsic stains.
Or choose full-coverage crowns or high-opacity veneers to completely mask deep
intrinsic discoloration resistant to whitening.
