im 17 i got my first molar extracted last year in august i didnt know that causes bone loss? im finna get braces soon tho what do ido

If there is no tooth, implant, graft, whatever, you'll experience resorption. This wouldn't occur, however, if your ortho moves the back teeth (7s/8s) forward and it should look the same as before. I don't know what your ortho did to you; he could've diddled you in the clinic for all I know, so you need to specify.

Bone resorption would've occurred by now.

If you want braces, you tell your ortho you want braces. Simple.

tbh i dont notice anything but its been a year maybe my ortho can move my back teeth forward and that promotes bone growth
Sir, that isn't how it works, but you don't seem to have lost bone in the first place so don't worry.
