Why does test spike appetite so much? If I just gave in to my urges I might actually become obese. I feel like eating 3500 calories a day. Obviously not all of this will convert to muscle. What is the evolutionary or biological reason for this?
 
Probably anabolic in nature as its a signal that your muscles will start protein synthesis

Personally though, sleep quality and circadian factors impact my appetite much more

So what would happen if you just give in to the hunger urge and eat until full while on test?

ye ur right thats why it goes away for a long time after you don't eat so it doesn't bother you
you only have a massive appetite after eating so you can gobble the leftovers before the nigger tribe eats the rest of it eventually the hunger will go away and come back after a few days to a week depending on the fast which was common

whoever said your body is REQUIRING any more calories??? your body needs the same amount with or without testosterone. you just now have the drive to actually go and do what you gotta do to survive because hunger is the most primal survival instinct
 
Test helps stimulate the pituitary gland to release GH which is probably the most likely cause of your apetite. theres probably other factors involved however

Test decreases ghrelin release, which means the satiation signal doesn't reach your brain and you may tend to overeat. So you'll likely just overeat and have increased muscle or fat gain.

Keep in mind that there's 2 main processes that govern hunger. Process 1 increases linearly the longer you haven't eaten, and decreases when you eat. Process 2 is circadian, which means hunger fluctuates throughout the day depending on your internal body clock.

Testosterone mainly interferes with Process 1

Helpful tips (at least for me) to reduce overeating and fat gain are:
1) Sleep well (probably most impt, will not only reduce hunger but also reduces energy stored as fat in your body)
2) Drink some milk 10-15 mins before your meals
3) Eat foods higher on satiety index
