I'm oldcel, but still can't grow a beard.

I assumed this meant I must have the T levels of a 12 year old girl, especially considering I only have a small amount of underarm hair too but my bloodwork shows me well in the 'normal' range (was 750 NG/DL I believe)

However, I didn't get my free T tested, so could THAT be low and the reason for zero facial hair? (low 'free' T)

I plan to get a hair transplant after this corona thing goes away and thought I may aswell get a beard transplant at the same time.

But would it be wise to maybe inject T first to see if that helps? How long would I need to do it for assuming that it would give me facial hair?

Bro start taking testosterone asap also steroids don't cause facial hair loss so beard max to.

I didn't. The GP's here are useless. You wouldn't believe how much I had to fight just to get my T checked.

You think it would be a good idea to run a low dose cycle for a few months? Hopefully no real harm done if it doesn't help and i stop taking it, and could also give me a clue whether low T is the issue? (even get a better body and lose some fat/gain muscle and possible mental health benefits!)

I can't make that decision fore you, injecting is a big commitment. However depending on where you live you can buy private blood tests. Test your T, DHT, Free T, SHBG and Estrogen. it could also be possible that you convert more of your T into estrogen instead of DHT

Why? I'm probably being stupid, but don't some people just run a few cycles (for a few months) in their lifetimes? (take some post cycle drugs and they're back to normal). i.e - Not on it for life and no real commitment at all

In theory, if taking T gave me a beard in a few months, I could stop taking it, keep my lovely new beard, and go back to more or less my current T levels which seem to be fine with the exception of a lack of beard! lol

is there a drug to help that, or is the idea that more T overall (injecting T) would still be the answer
