Roman catholics used to do it a lot but by now they arent allowed near kids anymore so we dont hear it as much. Dispensationalists arent Protestant really, they just believe in heresy and feel free to make their own rules up abt what God said

they turned interpret the Bible yourself into rewrite it whenever convenient. At least the old denominations had some consistent theology. I also think these mega Church type affairs are just money making schemes flashy lights, concert vibes, and pastors acting like influencers instead of preachers.
