I’m sure you probably know this but
- keep solid eye contact but don’t be bigeye or you’ll come across creepy.
- shake firm enough that if you increased the power a bit you’d crush their hand.
- keep a consistent pitch in your speech even if you sound slightly monotone. It makes you appear certain
- use your hands when you talk and be wide with hand gestures. If this is completely unnatural to you then just keep them on your lap.
- smile. They don’t want to work with a boring sob
- thank them at the end for their time
