My skin is rather dry and I've applied a cleanser for oily skin.

As I'm typing this I'm in an agony of my face burning. I can barely move my skin and open my mouth. Skin feels damaged and it's red. Most likely I will wake up all peeled up tomorrow.

I've tried cooling myself with cold water but it's not enough.

The skin was great until I've applied this poison.

For me it's the cleanser. It legit burned every single skin cell on my face.

What the fuck did you use?

The pain mostly went away, skin feels awful to touch though. Will try when I wake up in the morning.

This is the one, I believe

Your skin is incredibly sensitive if sodium laureth sulfate ( the most common surfactant in cleansers) irritates it. Try using soap free cleanser like QV.
Nvm I’m low iq, QV still contains SLS but it’s lower down. Try oil cleansing perhaps?

I can use tretinoin just fine. I'm thinking that this being made for oily skin is the problem

So Tretinoin doesnt leave your skin dry? Do you buffer it? What percentage?

0.025 %

It used to a little bit but now it doesn't anymore. I also started using a sunscreen. I don't buffer it.

Alright. Try avoiding cleansers that say they’re for oily/acne prone skin.

Thanks, man

Probably the case. I have 0 acne, never had any acne problems. Skin is dry.

Btw see my edit for the QV cleanser, it still contains surfactants but they are less harsh.
