like, when i was in school, we were the last generation that was into the emo/edgy scene of the 00s.
kids that were just 1 year younger were into completely different stuff, its crazy now that i think about it.
if you were born in 95 chances are you would have more stuff in commoon with someone born in 94 than with someone born in 96.
things were changing rapidly but it was was hard to see. losing contact with people my age was a bad move but then again, they were pretty bad influences. it was either complete losers or prodigies, middle ground simply didnt exist
