it’s a pretty interesting book to read tbh, reads like a fairy tale
But the fact that every single prison library in the world has that book in stock debunks the idea of the book as dangerous/subversive
author admitted himself - book is a nonsense and a scam, impossible to follow
I read it in the 4th grade, I thought I was the coolest for that
“Get Others to Do the Work for You, but Always Take the Credit” - yea that’s me when I don’t do anything in the group project, I am such a BADASS! Power Play!
I’m pretty sure the only reason people idolize this book is because it’s written in such a simplistic, stream of consciousness, high dopamine way that even a 8 year girl with a tiktok fried brain could read it - if they had the same set of neurosis as “incels”/tate money larpers online
Still, my hunch is that most people in these spaces who “read” the book in fact watched some redditor/chat gpt made TDLR YouTube video to larp reading as to artificially inflate their perceived intelligence
