'What you think of most of the times becomes your reality.'
I'm sure many of you have heard this before but u've probably never thought about this in depth as to why this is generally true.

Your sense of self, the 'I' you inhabit is not fixed but rather a malleable energetic pattern.

Your thoughts, emotions and intentions create subtle energetic patterns that define who you are. By consciously manipulating these patterns, you can “transmute” aspects of yourself, much like an alchemist transforms base metal into gold.

1. Understanding Your Base Material: Mapping the Self

Before you can transmute yourself, you must know what you’re working with. Think of this as identifying the “base metal” in alchemy.

Steps:
  • Energy Audit: Spend a week observing your daily emotional and mental states. Note recurring patterns: anger, fear, lust, ambition, insecurity. These are your energetic “blocks” or “raw material.”
  • Identity Mapping: Write down labels you’ve internalized: “I am lazy,” “I am unlovable,” “I am powerful.” Separate which are inherited (family/society) vs. truly chosen.
  • Shadow Identification: Identify suppressed parts of yourself—traits you deny or project onto others. These are often the most potent fuel for transformation.
Goal: Have a clear map of your current energetic and psychological state. Awareness is the first alchemical step.

2. Energy Alignment: Raising and Directing Your Internal Force

Once you know your base material, you begin to energize it consciously. Energy is the catalyst in alchemy.

Techniques:
  • Breathwork & Circulation: Daily practice of deep, rhythmic breathing (e.g., inhaling for 4 counts, holding 4, exhaling 6) while visualizing energy moving up your spine to the crown of your head.
  • Sensory Amplification: Spend 10–15 minutes a day heightening your perception of your body’s energy—feeling heat, tingling, tension. Name it: “This is ambition,” “This is fear.”
  • Intentional Focus: While moving through daily life, attach intention to energy: e.g., if you feel anxiety, tell yourself, “I am transforming this energy into clarity and drive.”
Goal: Become fluent in sensing and directing your internal energy. This is the fuel for transmutation.

3. Transmutation Rituals: Reshaping Identity

Here you actively change your internal patterns—the “lead” into “gold.”

Methods:
  1. Visualization Alchemy:
    • Identify a trait you want to transform (fear → confidence).
    • Visualize it as a dark liquid in your chest. See it rising, passing through a glowing “transmutation chamber” in your mind, and emerging as radiant gold energy you can channel outward.
  2. Behavioral Mirroring:
    • Act “as if” the new identity exists. Dress, speak, and carry yourself like the person you want to become. Energy responds to action.
  3. Symbolic Reinforcement:
    • Use sigils, talismans, or written intentions to anchor your transformation. E.g., write “I embody clarity and power” in a private journal, meditate on it daily, and burn it after visualizing the energy absorbed into your being.
Goal: Shift subconscious programming and reinforce new energetic patterns in the physical world.

4. Astral & Subconscious Integration

True alchemy isn’t just conscious—it extends into the subconscious and astral realms.

Techniques:
  • Dream Incubation: Before sleep, focus on a transformation goal. Example: “I release jealousy and embody trust.” Track how it manifests in dreams.
  • Astral Projection / Meditation: Visualize yourself stepping into a higher version of yourself in an alternate space. Interact with this version, absorb its traits, and bring them back into waking reality.
  • Energy Clearing: Use meditation, visualization, or subtle rituals to remove lingering negative patterns that resist transformation.
Goal: Make the change permanent, integrating it into both conscious and subconscious layers.

5. Mastery & Continuous Refinement

Alchemy is never truly complete; it’s a cycle of refinement.

Practices:
  • Weekly reflection on energy shifts and identity changes.
  • Tracking behavioral, emotional, and social responses to see what has truly shifted.
  • Adjust rituals, visualizations, and practices to target stubborn patterns.
Goal: Become an active alchemist of your own life—constantly evolving, consciously creating, and energetically aligned.

  • +1
  • Love it
  • Hmm...
Reactions: IraniancelV2, oadboueq1293, why not me? and 3 others
Isn’t this just placebo effect?

Theoretically if I do supposedly turn my “jealousy” into “confidence”

What will that achieve exactly?

My life will still be shit

And now show me any proof for sour statements to make sense..
