I would say that this is only "Failed cases are more loud than successful cases", but most of the underadvanced people are happy and have no complains.

Most people don't go to proper black pilled surgeons, but instead their local maxillofacial surgeon (who is going to play it safe so they don't get reported to their medical board for an over advancement failure).

Let me tell you why.

The bigger the advancement, the more the facial nerves get stretched and strained. Which means more risk of permanent nerve damage.

The under advanced cases don’t know any better so they don’t say anything. So many 3mm lefort cases when really they needed at minimum double that.
