My take isn't that nobody cares generally, its just that looks are all that matters anyway, not your actions.

So you can legit do almost anything, it won't make people like you more anyway so there's no point in talking with anyone unless you are attractive

But they don’t. Most of us aren’t extraordinary supermodels or actors, that strangers might even care slightly about.

Saying that sympathy comes solely from appearance is a bit of a stretch-it plays a strong role, but it’s just one of many factors.
At first glance, it’s obviously the most significant factor, I agree.

The real issue though, is that many on this forum are incredibly desperate for respect and attention from girls (and even guys) while completely forgetting that people are far more focused on themselves and their own lives than on someone else.

Even if you’re just average in terms of appearance, why not at least try to get something going? Guys are so afraid of being reassured that they’re just average- everyone feels entitled to being a special snowflake.
That’s just what happens when people grow up safe, constantly praised by their parents and told they can become anything they want in life.
In the end, everything can be traced back to genetics-so why even bother?
