I think the best method is to go to the mountains/forest at night in winter, drink strong alcohol until you pass out and freeze to death.

You won't feel anything and it will be completely painless.

What do you think about this? What are the downsides?

Anything alongside getting blackout drunk

More details about it?
You get a gas mask and connect it to a helium tank, so that you breathe in only helium and no oxygen. This is a painless method to suffocate yourself. But if the helium tank has a little bit of oxygen, you survive and have to go to the hospital. Nowadays, because companies found out people were killing themselves with the helium method, they started putting oxygen in the helium tanks since most people use them for balloons anyways.

High IQ method. only downside can be the chance of you waking up while suffering hypothermia, but it's probably a small chance if you drink a lot

The downsides are that you will get eaten by a bear before been able to get a head from the alcohol .
