Undoubtedly the best eyelash product for what Ive tried is LATISSE/BIMATOPROST
I doubt any of you guys reading this arent aware of what it is.
Latisse has been highly demonized if we can call it that, here in the forum, thats why I would like to gatekeep the correct usage of it but I wont cause I dont feel like it
So for you that dont know:
Latisse is a product more known as a medication, IT IS NOT A SERUM. It needs a medical presciption but in some parts of the world you can get it online or in pharmacies.
WHY it has been "demonized" in this forum:
Many people call out losening of fat located around the eye area, for example more hollowness on the under eye or more exposition of the upper eyelid.
Also can have other minor side effects like darkening of the iris and darkening of the skin around.
How to use it:
Just get a small brush and apply it, before going to sleep, on your eyelashes carefully of not touching any skin around it to not risk any side effects
I have been using it for about 5 months now not as consistently as the treatment should be, because I take some preacutions and heres why I think is the best product if you use it correctly.
Precautions I take:
- DONT use the brush which the product comes with:
This brush is too big and will absorb too much of the product, making it more possible of it scattering to your skin around the eye
Insted use a smaller brush that you can buy in any store/stationery store (I think its called)
one like this should do the work good enough.
- Sleep on your back and AVOID at all costs to sleep facing down: This could also make the product to get on your skin and cause darkening of it (Ive experienced it but it only last 12-24 hours).
- Tracking: Take a picture everyday of your eye area in different angles and the same lighting everytime/half of the time you use it.
EXTRA PRECAUTION I USED TO TAKE:
- Applying vaseline around the eye area before applying: This will make the product safer to use in case it gets on your skin because of one or some of the reasons I mentioned or maybe another one I havet gotten in count.
Lastly before showing my results:
Im aware many people have claimed to suffer of some serious side effects like the losening of orbital fat or darkening of the eye area. You can even tell in the before and afters
And If you want to decide wether to use it or not basing on this you CAN but in my honest take I wouldnt
Because:
- As I mentioned you can take many precautions with this product and I feel the most important one is the brush you use and how many people that have used it outside of this forum do you think have gotten another smaller brush for the appliance?
I can respond that: NONE OF THEM.
Having that in count I can tell you that they got orbital fat loss because of the lack of precautions with a dangerous product like this and now you reading this forum CAN take this precautions with not a problem.
Lastly and the most waited: My eyelashes ascension
I wont comment on my overall looks but you can tell I didnt have some really long eyelashes.
I mean look at this screenshot of a video of me jestering on a party
I consider Ive overally ascended but yes eyelashes did play a role in it in my honest opinion.
