  1. Protein and creatine build muscle mass. What determines how efficiently you build muscle is your testosterone levels primarily. However bones and muscle insertions have a much bigger impact on it if your natty or even enhanced. Steroids only amplify what you already have.
  2. Working on your lats and delts makes you look wider. This is the biggest myth. Even on steroids it's not true. A framecel like David Laid could take 600 mgs of test and a small dose of tren. Guess what? His upper body appears more masculine, but he's still stuck with his twink framem You can still see his frame isn't really that big under all his muscle.

Who looks better to you, the guys that cheat their genes with a shit ton of tren to look wide, or the guys who simply just have a naturally masculine and dimorphic frame? Bones >>>>> Muscles.
  3. "Eating more food makes your muscles grow." Eat big to get big is a myth that only applies to steroid enhanced bodybuilders. Bulking as a natty is a waste of time. Food is not capable of altering the process of muscle protein synthesis. More food doesn't equal equal bigger muscles if the mps in the body doesn't allow it. This isn't true for steroid users. Since steroids heavily enhance muscle protein synthesis, more food could equal more growth for a roidcel, but only for them. More bricks does not equal a bigger house if the architects did not plan it. This is a myth spread by Mark Rippetoe.
  4. Steroids are just the finishing touch. This is something every bodybuilder will never admit. Without steroids there is no bodybuilding. Every athlete claims this too. If drugs are not of major importance in sports, why are they banned and looked down upon as cheating? Because that is how effective they really are.

  5. Bodybuilding is extremely complicated and requires a mythical set of stars to align to grow. No it isn't. How did Eugene Sandow get his physique? No exogenous hormones, no special dieting regimines, no calorie counting, or even specialized training equipment and routines, yet he looks better than most gym goers today. What should that tell you? It really isn't complicated.
  6. Bodybuilders follow strict diets and training regimines. This isn't true most of the time. Look at how branch warren trains. Kevin Levrone has openly admitted to winning eating junk food.

A few more myths that I forgot to address.

Low calorie diets will slow down your metabolism to the point you gain weight eating a few apples and you'll lose muscle mass and strength. Most people underestimate their calorie intake. When you put them on a actual diet, they act like your torturing them and start shoving weird theories in your face. Also you won't lose as much as you think, unless you diet like Christian Bale in the machinist. To get to that point, he ate 1 Apple or 1 can of tuna a day only 100 calories. As a result, he lost both fat tissue and muscle tissue.

Also Casey Butts formula. Casey Butts formula has 1 fatal flaw. It is based on bodybuilders like Steve Reeves, reg park, John grimek, and George Eiferman all of whom were on anabolic steroids. False data in equals false data out. The idea natural bodybuilding potential is dependent on frame size is correct however.

Good thread Bhai.

Not only bodybuilders, much like many things in life, all foids expectations have been totally skewed from reality because there is no NOBODY in the real world has a standout body now while being natty.

It really is as simple as u can be big natty, u can be lean natty, but u can't be big and lean natty.

Also good observation on diet, whenever u see bodybuilders eat, they are cramming their mouths with junk food, it really is all anabolics

for your point 2, a naturally skinny guy on tren/test looks super aesthetic in pictures/the mirror so i disagree tbh. standing next to a natural bone/frame mogger he'll look pathetic, but in pictures? amazing.

rest of it is pretty true

Yea cool story but your alternative is not building muscle and accept your frameletism or what?
A clean shaven wide jaw looks also better than a beardfrauded narrow jaw. Still the narrow jaw guy ascends with the beard which is the point and same thing here.
David laid looks better in the after than in the before.
Also girls can’t tell a real difference if we are honest.
Most would even think David laid is natural

No I'm trying to say it just looks awkward as hell. Plus most people think only guys that look like Phil heath and Ronnie Coleman take steroids.

To your PSL brain.

Like how rich piana ate benjerry every night? Or how Kevin Levrone won shows eating 7-11 hot dogs, McDonald's, burger king, Apple pie, and vanilla ice cream? Or Jeff Seid and the aesthetics crew eating junk food like crazy? That's all drugs for sure lol.

Yes, many here underestimate how much size one can fraud on pics. And Laid is not just a regular frauder, he is one of the best in the industry, a master of photography and lighting. Irl he looks much smaller like anybody else.

Girls only would accuse somebody being on gear if he really looks unnatural irl - like has retardedly big traps or shoudlers

Just when I thought I was finished with this site I see more dumb ass shit. You think Kevin levrone eating a burger twice a week after starving down to 7% body fat is the same as eating shit year like you lol. Protein doesn't build mass.... food doesn't matter as a natty. This guy obviously looks like fucking shit
