1. Prestige University

If in a high ranking uni example Oxbridge, LSE, Ivy Uni and so on do a Business, sales, finance, economics, marketing or accounting degree these

2. Specialised Degree

A degree that actually allows you to develop a new skill examples Computer Science, Engineering, Medicine these 3 are the most important and most specialised I would of added things like marketing but you dont need a 3 year course to fucking learn about marketing.

Honorable mentions shit degrees but some worthwhile skills
- Marketing
- IT Management
- Sales

These are honorable mentions because they are not specialised skills and can be learnt by almost anyone.

Physics and Mathematics are god tier majors. With them you can do virtually any of the high paying / coveted jobs — SWE, Finance, Fintech, Data Analysis, etc.

Ye you have a widerange of JOBS you can choose but my thread was more self employed oriented its easier to start a business as a grad from a prestige uni who studied business or as a computer scientist whose been working on their own software service since uni or even as a Doctor who owns their own practice.

Ah, I see. Business is mostly a pointless major as it’s extremely multi-disciplinary. One would be better off getting real world exp. instead of going to Uni. Also, a Maths / Physics major would have the requisite knowledge and skill to venture out and start their own firm (see, Jim Simons). You do make many valid points, though.

Fuck man there really is no way to get rich from a predetermined path like this...

I'm not autistic enough for CS or engineering and with medicine, you'll never earn more than 100k€/yr here in Denmark. I guess my best bet is to become a doctor or something pharma related and move to America.

I just need enough to pay for my surgeries, debts and a house man...
