I believe the issue was not excessive gooning, as I had no prior issues with that for several years
I believe the issue is my recent purchase of new underwear that I explicitly purchased a bit larger to let my testicles hang / freeball, as I was annoyed by my prior underwear being so tight
But what I have discovered is this freeballing over the past several weeks-months has likely contributed to excessive strain on the varicose veins in my scrotum, increased blood pooling, temperature, and blood flow especially when my room gets hot and my balls hang like a mf!
This is likely what has resulted in my recent discomfort and pain in my testes, so I will be switching back to underwear that supports the testicles and hopefully resolve this issue
