everything has risk. everyone wants results but doesnt want risk
the only tool to navigate this is logic (following intuition is logic because ur choosing to follow it because its logical that intuition is probably correct, logic is: if it sounds right then it probably is right)
first of all, here is the Light Logic: if life is good, risking making it worse (or gone) in order to make it better is unnecessary therefore probably unwise. but this doesnt apply if life is bad
so here is the Dark Logic: if life sucks, especially if u want to rope, then the logic is that death already and purely is not a bad thing. a neutral thing at worst. if one can begin to subconsciously understand this, one begins to see a strategy. if death is not a bad thing, then risking it for a good thing is good. pretty simple. the strategy to this is that overcoming the strong aversion to the risk of death (or other bad things in the Mundane, since death can put them to an end) can be leveraged to increase the probability of desired results. if one's own life is valued so much because its all people seem to have, well then it is limiting itself and being less dynamic. the argument can be further strengthened by the logic that the probability of death is 100% so that the only variable is when. how much u care about this variable depends on u. the fundamental logical device that death is not a bad thing is the Key to the Dark Secret to results and this Key unlocks greater power
