The distinction between Pictures vs In-motion

- Facial features are what stand out the most. This is why eyes are important in pictures.
- This is why medium hair looks better in pictures; it disguises facial feature failos (eye area).

In-motion:
- Outer face shape is what stands out the most. This is why jaw is important in-motion.
- This is why shorter hair looks better in-motion; it accentuates the outer face shape (jaw).

Just like any rule there are always exceptions and obviously we can’t forget that Chad suits any hair. This is just a general guide.

Legit thread, most people look better in motion/irl regardless

and bones in general is what matters overall in motion as well as proportions. How deep set your eyes are/forwardness of orbitals, the forward/upward growth of the zygomaxillary region and the width, height and prominence of the chin matters a lot more in motion; as well as the size of your nose relative to the other features.
