Was at friends house a couple of nights back, watched a movie with some friends at his wife. The movie was the English Patient:
Not gonna spoil the plot if some of you want to see the film. It's a WW2 romance set in the dessert.
Couldn't help but notice that the movie corresponded perfectly to some of the tropes surrounding the English.
The main character (Ralph Fiennes) is a Hungarian but he is mistaken for an Englishman because of his perfect accent(again not gonna spoil too much plot). The female lead and his love interest ( played by Kristin Scott Thomas ,first time I've seen this actress, no idea who she is):
is a wrinkled-up, post prime birdcel. She is also build like a fridge with no tits:
She is portrayed a hypermasculine, rude and aggressive, aka the typical English woman. She constantly beats, humilliates and emsculates the English patient character. Here she is dominating him and holding him from behind like a bitch:
To play into the Anglo trope even more, both actors look like they could be brother and sister, strengthening the English incestuous stereotype even more:
Meanwhile her husband,( who she cucks for Fiennes):
is a complete idiot who is incompetent at his job and whose wife cucks him for a foreigner three months into their marriage. He also implies at one point during the movie that his wife was involved with tons of men before him and once she was ready to settle down, he stepped up, only to get cucked by a guy that looks like he could her brother.
In fact, all of the English in this film are weak, unstable and/or incompetent. The wife is a masculine, mentally unstable slut, all of the Englishman involved in the war are either drunks or portrayed as fuck ups.
Meanwhile you have the contrast of the brave and strong Americans and Canadians:
In fact, Juliet Binoche is the real Stacy of this movie, not the other actress. She is innocent, feminine and beautiful, like a fawn:
The polar opposite of the English woman. She also has great tits:
Every male character is fighting for her attention in the movie, but she rejects all of them.
Enter the actual hero of this movie - the ethnic:
He swoops in and manages to take the innocence of the object of desire of many:
The Hindu is very capable and strong in the movie. He dominates and stands above everyone in the movie, symbolising the ethnic dominance in the Anglosphere.
In the end of the war, he pumps and dumps Binoches character:
and leaves. Meanwhile all the other English and other white characters suffer immensely at the hands of destiny( not gonna spoil how).
