Planned obsolescence is the idea that companies intentionally design products to fail prematurely so that you have to buy more products.

Which should be 100% obvious to anyone above 80 iq. But when I talk about this to people I often get called a conspiracy theorist

“Why would companies implement a tactic which would force us to buy more stuff from them and thus transferring more of our wealth to them”:forcedsmile:

Geez I mean it sure is a mystery

A suprising amount of people do.

They literally take everything the establishment does at face value

The idea ulterior motives could exist doesn’t compute to them

He’s right

Every aspect of capitalism is jewish
I doubt the Jews would even want a Laissez-faire structure. They like to buy out the government, it's all a game to them. :Comfy:

They do this with devices, appliances, and cars. Lots of other things too. Prime example is how in the past, small yard equipment like weed whackers, push mowers, snow blowers, chainsaws, and leaf blowers were almost all gas engines that would last DECADES for the average user as long as you did basic maintenance.

I've got many such machines that are over 40 years old and show no signs of dying yet, meanwhile electric ones will have a bad battery every few years and the batteries cost almost as much as a new machine, so it makes you buy a new one instead of repairing (or not needing to repair at all). On a few of my machines, they had minor things break down over time like fuel lines and primer bulbs dry rotting, but those are easy fixes and only require pulling the gas tank and carburetor off to fix, and parts are under $15.

Nowadays even the people that have gas small machines with 2 stroke engines don't even fucking know how to properly mix 2 stroke oil and gas for the engine so the idiots either run straight gas in it and then complain gas machines suck because they ruined it from lack of oil, or they buy pre mixed oil and gas sold at 5x what it costs to make yourself :feelskek:. The consumers are as much to blame as corporations for this stuff
