Imagine not being born as the species at the pinnacle of the food chain ruling the world aka humans

Meanwhile some baby crab is getting eaten by her own mother just to survive, wishing they were a human with free will

Most of animals aren't even self conscious infact being human is the worst thing that happened to us

Concept that popped up in my mind:

I think a theoretical omnipotent being preceding causality and the big bang could have free will as it's decisions aren't bound to causality. But this scenario assumes a theoretical omnipotent being is possible. What do you think?

Being a under htn human is unironically worse than being any other animal if you think about it (besides intelligent animals like monkeys and ravens and shit)

Underrated Thread, though by the same token most of us are like fodder/cattle to the Elites similar to your
Crab analogy

There are only two factors influencing your decisions and thoughts, aka your "free" will.

1: Genetics

2: Environment

There are no other factors influencing your brain. So we can conclude that everything is pre determined and thus, no free will exists.

Exactly. An animal with supreme genetics, who gets everything he desires, still beats your average human in life satisfaction

I know you want to talk about free will and shit but I implied with that reply already that I don't think free will exists

Read again to understand what I meant with that reply

I understood your position on free will but ignored your question to give my reasoning as to free will doesn't exist. I didn't answer your question, because I'm not educated on the big bang. Instinctively it would not make sense for me that anything can exist in nothing, I guess

You could've replied to OP that mentions that free will exists in his perspective, I'm a worse candidate because or beliefs align

People assume God exists before the big bang as well so it's just a thought that popped up in my mind, like I clarified

Anyway, if it's about reps just tag or something

Omnipotent literally implies free will. How can you be all-powerful if your actions are governed by external processes boundless to you? You can always similarly assume the causality for no reason just like you can assume the God’s existence.

Oh "literally" how do I cope

I wrote this while shitting so fuck yourself, didn't know I have to be that selective when typing something out while the average retard writes what comes to his mind during less noble discussions

i used my free will to inform you that one of the necessary consequences of quantum mechanics is that predeterminism is false, because there will always be elements of randomness inherent to every particle interaction.

randomness = not free by definition btw

so its no prove for free will or that you as you said Used your free will

and just because we dont know what causes this "randomness" does not mean that there isnt a cause

Maybe our consciousness can not figure this out because these causes take place in another dimension that is not perceptible to us

or

we dont have enough knowledge of physics as of rn

Still, for a baby crab being eaten might sound cruel but its part of their natural life cycle. They dont feel or think like us either, their life simply have different meaning and purpose.

Is your life meant to be this way?

Imagine being a bunny tho :)
