is a clothing brand scam viable?

is it viable to start a "clothing brand" make mock-ups, samples, and fake packages and simply never ship them out? i'm thinking of operating this through an individual website, an instagram, and a discord, where after payment I will remove all contact with the buyer as well as transfer the money...
