The first time my dad got arrested

I was in my house doing whatever and my parents were fighting like always. Until my mom threatened to call the police and my dad didn’t care. Ig he said “go for it I dare u” and didn’t expect her to actually do it. When I heard knocking on the door I checked the peep hole and it was police officers and I told my mom, she opened the door for them to come in. I remember seeing my dad’s surprised face in the kitchen like “what”. And then it wasn’t a lot of commotion my father went silently and complied. I saw my dad go in the police car and drive off. But I wasn’t like screaming “father noooo!!” Bawling my eyes out. Obviously I was sad but I don’t think I was being dramatic. And that’s how he got arrested for majority of my kindergarten days.
