continuing from Part I, the then king of the band of swarthy outlaws united by a thirst for the touch of a woman or even the warmth of her gaze,Titus Livius sugggested to the senate to take the Fabian women from nearby Fabia by brute force
It was the curious albeit respected hermit on the hill, Romulus who suggested a more elaborate strategy to supply the men with women:
invite the Fabian king and his women for a festival of games in honor of Neptune planning a mass kidnapping of women during it.
When it came time set for the show and everyone was focused on games, then, as agreed, a riot broke out and the Roman youth, to a precise signal, ran madly to kidnap the beautiful women.
Many of these poor souls were dragged to their homes of Roman plebians never to return to Fabia again
