Ever noticed how majority of attractive people never look 100% their ethnicity? They always have couple of features rarely seen in said population.
Moreover, sub5s tend to be "pure breeds".
Humans have biological tendency to spread their gene pool, but paradoxically, also tend to prefer their own (assortative mating). This "paradox" manifests by making "high averageness + few exotic features" faces more universally attractive than "bland" ones. You know, dissimilar yet not distinct appearance.
E.g. White man would decently increase his appeal by getting a tan, curling his hair, growing brows/lashes...
