Notice the difference/extrapolation in facial asymmetries and facial harmony between both photos. Same person but one of the pictures look like my face is melting lol. This isn't to speak on PSL but rather facial harmony, but PSL also gets effected heavily by lens distortion (which we all know)
It's a pretty big difference. Many posts have been made about this before so I'll be one to say it again - if you feel horrible about your appearance on pictures and if you have a lower end smartphone from which you are taking sed photos, cheer up! I guarantee you look so much better irl and trust the mirror not the phone regardless. Take care!
