if u have the same amount of bloat being lean and being fat, why is it when fat it seems to look like you're much more bloated then when lean.
Because fat cells retains water. Bloat is essentially water retention (often from high carb/salt intake, elevated cortisol levels etc). The more fat the fat cells contain, the more water it will retain when you're bloated.

adipose tissue contains about 10% of water, you literally have more water underneath your skin at higher bodyfat.

so would being sub10% bf lets say allow you to have high sodium, for example whilst still looking around 10% bf, since it's stored in fat

You just have to be 10% bf and not eat carbs cause they cause bloat you would look lean 24/7 in the face

Sub 10% is unhealthy you will be tired all the time, that's an HIV or chemotherapy patient body

What do you mean by "allow you to have high sodium"? Are you worried about facial bloat?

How much facial bloat someone gets, and how it affects their look varies a lot. You should match your sodium intake to your needs. If you're sweating a lot, higher sodium. Sweating less, less sodium. Unless you're eating like an idiot, you shouldn't be walking around bloated to any significant degree anyways.

i hear low sodium thrown around a lot to ensure face is not bloated
so if one goes gym daily, moderate sodium intake should not give facial bloat right?

It depends on how much you sweat. You shouldn't worry about it too much. If you're struggling with facial bloat, try reducing sodium intake. If there's no issue, don't worry about it. Make sure to get enough sleep and stay hydrated. This has a big impact on your face.

think of it kinda like a baseline. if you’re already fat then you won’t ever look more fat because there’s no room for fluctuation. but if you are really lean by default then eating one bad thing could cause a lot of fluctuation in your appearance, whereas if you’re already fat then eating one healthy thing won’t magically make you lean.
