- Appearance (face, height, etc..)

- The family you are born into (household stability, wealth, etc..)

- Opportunities and environment (connections, country, etc..)

- Intelligence/IQ

- Hard work

Almost all of the most successful people in the world tick off most/all of these boxes

(I would say appearance has lower priority financially, but higher priority socially/dating wise)

Gotta get lucky
Yup

The tall htn born into a stable upper middle class family in suburban America with a high iq is likely going to be quite successful in life

I can’t say the same about the short ugly dude with an 80 iq born into a poor broken family in a war torn country

Jfl at hard work
Hard work by itself with nothing else going for you won’t get you that far, but when paired with the other things it will get you a lot further than you would without it

The lazy dude with a high iq likely won’t amount to anywhere near as much as he would have if he had a good work ethic, which could have taken him pretty far tbh

Almost no successful guy is a lazy bum unless they inherited it or there was pure luck involved (like a lottery win)

In this day in age, most people don’t

Most kids are now born into single mother households, which tend to be fairly unstable, those two alone are a huge blow on your chances of success

And the list ends here
Cope

If you are 90 iq and from a poor broken family you ain’t gonna make it in life

Sure you will get some girls if you mog but that’s it

Surprised that you didnt mention being low inhib is literally one of the most important things for having a good career

That’s part of it, but the things I mentioned matter a lot more
Iq is overrated as long as it's not too low it doesn't affect your life in any way except getting a good score on those logic-mathematics tests

I agree

Just don’t be really stupid is all that matters unless you are trying to found a tech startup or become a neurosurgeon or some like that

I genuinely believe that a good network that will lead to opportunities while having a decent iq is way better than being high iq and having none of that

Looks are insanely important
In dating yeah, and it can impact socialization a lot too

But financially, connections (which is impacted by looks I will say that), iq, etc.. is more important

Most of the wealthiest people on the world were never that attractive

All of that doesnt mean shit if you are anxiety ridden high inhibition. I had crapload of opportunities to succeed in life, was even offered a job as a university professor (i have a masters degree) but declined, because just thinking about doing public speaking in front of 50 people makes me go into a fight or flight tbh and i start cold sweating. Now im ldaring and unemployed with like 1000$ to my name (im 31) while someone who is low inhib got that job.

I’d put social skills overall of those. A lot of successful people, become successful in part due to networking.
