Do you buy the concept of concrete groupings of generations, like "Boomers" or "Millennials"? I don't buy it because the oldest members and youngest members, of each labeled generation, have less in common with each other than they do with cusp members of other labeled generations who are much closer to their age. I think that you share your generation with people close to your age, even if you don't share the same labeled generation. It's like a sliding scale.
The oldest Millennial and the youngest Generation X'er have more in common with each other than they do with people who are ten to twenty years older or younger than they are. They can't identify with those people. It's just common sense. Should we change how we look at generations?
