Humor comes from the language part of the brain. It's the same chemical effect that listening to familiar music causes. Someone says something absurd that's consistent with your idea of culture and you laugh to let them know you're part of the same group. It's the same reason bad spelling and grammar makes you feel so bad.
Modern culture is now entirely synthetic. There are no real groups. The average zoomer has evolved beyond the need for humor.
That joke is only funny when said in a proper tone by the fellow zoomer with whom they think they match their mental wavelengths with. A boomer speaking “fax” isn’t mainly considered as such. From what I have seen in a highly NT friendship group, it’s the joke said by that particular person that’s funny and not necessarily the joke itself. That ‘friend’ in the group is valued more than the joke.

@Blackgymmax saying “it’s over” to a normie in the ratings section after only reading the title which said “20M, 175cm, BLACK” is considered on a diff level sentience and humour than a random boomer GrAYcel saying it over. It’s the exact same thing, the same info that had to be delivered but the “person” who said it is what takes the humour on a diff level and not necessarily the message that’s delivered.
