I realized something.

Imagine being a child of Job. Imagine being a servant of Job. Imagine being any one of those people whom he had lost. They were all just pawns.

All of them existed for the sole purpose of testing Job.

So what about their sins? What about their faith? What about their dreams and aspirations?

O’ lowly are they; men and women who exist solely to amplify the integrity and heroism of someone else. Did they burn in hell? Was that always that purpose — to die in a game between God and Satan? Did they go to Heaven? Did they have any sentience or were they like a cat or dog who exists solely to be a background character/object/animation?

Job was the protagonist. Cursed is he who had the misfortune of being a random son of Job, for he hadn’t ever a chance of being his own man. Always will he remain a son of Job.
