That's why we play(ed) videogames. That's why we played with toy cars. That's why we played with toy weapons and fought with tree branches as imaginary swords. That's why we thought of ourselves as heroes, cool and popular. This still applies to us today.

And then we realized - some more than others, some earlier than others - that all this is just fantasy. And then we had less and less time to live inside of our nice fantasies and we were confronted with real life more and more. And then we became miserable.

Think about it. Maybe your life isn't shitty/wrong now; maybe it was before, when you were fake happy and just didn't realize it.
