increase its value.

It's even worse for the Ethereum ETF. That caused the price of ETH to plummet and remain low. It hasn't recovered since. Ethereum would've been much better off without it.

So, all the hype about how these digital assets were going to go parabolic and make us all rich, once the ETFs went live, turned out to be dead wrong. Another broken promise.

I expected the ETF vehicle to attract investors who were waiting on the sidelines, too skittish to self-custody their crypto.

I can't say much cuz I'm not heavily on crypto anymore and I don't really give a fuck, but from what I assume it was expected that institutional investors would come in heavily (which apparently didn't happen) and some more retail (which could be because the people that believe and consider investing in crypto would buy it regardless of ETF
