Colored lenses can enhance your face massively, but only if they match your phenotype, facial harmony, and skin undertone. Pick the wrong ones and you'll instantly look fake or uncanny unapproachable
colors for PHENOTYPES
colors for PHENOTYPES
- Nordic/Slavic (light features) → Can go with blue, grey, icy green — looks natural.
- Mediterranean/Latino → Hazel, golden green, light brown work best. the lighter, the faker it looks
- MENA/South Asian → Honey, amber, or olive green hits hard. Avoid light blue unless you have lighter skin
- East Asian → Subtle gray or honey lenses. no harsh colors
- Black/Afro phenotype → Rich honey, deep green, or very dark blue if your skin is lighter. Light eyes can work if your facial harmony is tyrone tier which obviously isnt
Skin Undertone = Make or Break
Test your undertone:
- If you look better in silver → Cool tone.
- If gold suits you more → Warm tone.
- Can wear both → Neutral.
- Matching lens color:
- Cool undertone → Icy blue, grey, cool green.
- Warm undertone → Honey, hazel, olive green.
- Neutral → Most colors work, but still match with eye shape and vibe.
Brands That Actually Look Good
Avoid party-store crap or cheap "Korean circle lenses" unless you like looking like an anime reject. Go for realistic patterns, subtle limbal rings, and high-contrast prints.
Trusted brands:
- Solotica (especially the "Hidrocor" line)
- Desio (natural patterns, high quality)
- Anesthesia (for striking looks that still pass as real)
- TTDeye only if you know what you're doing
TL;DR Rules:- Match your phenotype and undertone
- Avoid colors that clash with your skin or face shape
- Your goal = "Wait, are those your real eyes?" not "Bro what’s wrong with your eyes?"
- Subtle > extreme (unless you’re already 8+/10)
NO OFFENCE TO BROWN EYES
