I completely agree, math is the single predictor of general intelligence. The thing is though, you won't be good at it if you didn't learn it well or weren't taught it well. I was top 1% in standardized testing and was put in a math enrichment class after school with like 20 other kids in the whole state (Pretty much all chinks due to our genetically superior IQs) during elementary school. However, I got bored and stopped caring about school for a while and focused on wrestling and now my math isn't top tier anymore since math is foundational. Fuck ADHD. Anyways, someone who has the potential to be extremely good at math but barely goes to school or pays attention at all might be bad at math. He has high IQ even if he sucks at math. If you were bad at math in elementary and middle where you didn't have to put much effort though, you're almost definitely low IQ.

believe it or not at most pre-calulaus which is basically trig/algebra is about the highest math most people or jobs will ever need be it a electrical worker, hvac tech, mechanical tech. the only time you need higher math is if your doing advanced electrical engineering/mechanical iam talking nasa space program stuff.

90 percent of the stuff you learn in highschool you won't remember or even use. In college its a different story if you pick to study a degree your gona use in the real world, then i would say 75 percent of the stuff you will use.
