As I said, it was a different demography of people, a different age, a different generation, a different mentality.

Also, the smaller number of members and activity in general meant that the higher effort / better threads automatically became more visible, relevant and attractive to do, because they were getting much more engagement..

But in the grand scheme of things, it's certainly much less of a good idea to try to do something like this in 2025 compared to previous years..

As a random example from the thread (one of the most innocent ones, to be honest), look at the length of the girls' hands and forearms (left 5'10, right 5'3) in these images, the way they hold the baby and provide support and stability, and the ease with which they do it..

and tell me which one of them you think:

- will have fewer repetitive movements while handling the child
- will be more tired and will consume more energy
- who is more likely to drop the baby on the floor when washing it in the bathtub or simply around the house, when holding it, when picking it up, when offering milk, change diapers etc.
- will be able to have more energy to play with the child more often
- who will be more likely to develop muscle and back pain
- will have bigger mental stress and increased cortisol levels due to anxiety given the bigger difficulty in handling the child in general
- will be more likely to develop chronic shoulder pain
- will likely need a chair or other support objects when changing their baby's diapers
