The same is true for women, but there is a difference in them compared to men. The problem begins when women grow up and realize that they have many options.
At the beginning, when they were young, they treated you fairly well, it didn't even matter if you were very ugly. We could talk to them however once they grow up they become narcissistic and take the path of manipulating men so the large number of options they have makes them consider men inferior especially to the majority of men that means they can be as mean as they want with the men who don't have interest with.
Women take advantage of that power: they take men's money, accept dates that they do not want to have and sleep with the most sexually attractive men. In reality, they do not love nor can they love because they consider men to be inferior and therefore it doesn't matter how much effort you put into a woman if you are not the man she is looking for it will be of no use.
Even if you are the man they are already looking for, that does not mean that they will treat you well because in their hypergamous nature they can always replace you with her current orbiter.
