Can confirm I didn’t need this shit. On the very first hours after I woke up I wasn’t allowed to stand up from the hospital bed even tho I felt fine enough to walk to the bathroom.

Apparently some people feel fine but then some anesthesia after effects kick in and they faint while standing up and get hurt.

So I had to pee into a bottle like container that they gave me, without leaving the bed. It was pretty uncomfortable but I didn’t have to use any of that weird shit that goes inside the dick, I just peed into the container, that’s it.

God...I just...want to be...a human..why?

I had an online consultation with a limb lengthening surgeon and I brought having to use a catheter after the surgery up since I'd read something about someone having problems with it. He answered that he used a catheter only during the surgery, meaning that it's insterted and removed under anaesthesia, which I don't find too bad considering I'd be getting 20 cm rods hammered into my legs at the same time

You won't notice this since you will be out due to anesthesia. And they take it out before you awaken.
